Kalkofen Grosses Gewachs is located on a plateau above Deidesheim. The vines have an age of 65 years and are growing on sandstone and limestone.

The wine ferments naturally in 500l oak barrels and stays 1,5 years on the lees. A dense and creamy Riesling with a lot of juiciness and glaze.
