This wine is concentrated and beautifully red and black cherry-colored, showcasing fine notes of blackberry, sunbaked earth and spice on the nose. Medium to full bodied, the palate is driven by hints of cassis, cherry and strawberry, finely balanced by mild tannins and light acidity. Long and refined, notes of rustic oak linger on a drawn-out finish. This Cotes du Rhone Villages is truly reflective of its land, as the earth and dry forest environment from which it emanates is evident. Although mid to full bodied, this wine can still be enjoyed with both light and heartier fare.

Domaine Rouge Garance is situated on the west bank of the Rh ne with vineyards among Saint Hilaire d'Ozilhan and Castillon, a small winemaking paradises abundant with Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grapes.
