Blecua is a triple selection of the best vineyards, the best bunches and the best barrels. The resulting blend is aged for 24 months in new French Allier barrels. This exceptional wine shows a spectacular deep purple color with bright garnet nuances. Complex and intense on the nose, it exhibits elegant toasted aromas from the time spent in barrel perfectly balanced with confitures, eucalyptus, liquorice and chocolate. Full bodied and well structured, its fruit bearing richness stands out with toasted and lactic notes. It has a long and complex aftertaste.

Blecua is located in the north of Spain in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the DO Somontano. The wine produced is super premium and is considered to be the most prestigious from the Somontano region. A small winery that opened for business in 2000. The property covers 14 hectares in the heart of Somontano and a beautiful house where the wine is produced which dates back to the end of the 19th century when it was used as a retreat for the Benedictine monks at Santa Fe de Conques.
