This 100% Pinot Noir is produced in the Marlborough region. Concentrated notes of black and red fruits dominate with subtle undercurrents of spice. On the palate, dominated with darker fruits but with a silky-smooth tone. Tannins are soft and integrated with a supple mouthfeel leading to a classic Pinot Noir finish that is long and mouth filling. Ideal by the glass or with light dishes such as white meat and rice dishes.
Shelter Bay wines are produced by Jackson Estate, a small family-owned producer in Marlborough New Zealand. Jackson Estate has been in the business for over 25 years, hand crafting wines with elegance, finesse and longevity. Focusing on low cropping levels, small batch fermentation, single vineyard fruits and minimal winemaking intervention, the winery is sustainable and environmentally responsible. Stich Sauvignon Blanc is named in recognition of John 'Stich' Stichbury, founder of Jackson Estate. In addition, they produce Homestead Pinot Noir, from their estate vineyards. All fruit is grown on their estate vineyards in Marlborough in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys. View More
