The 2018 Spätburgunder Bönnigheim Sonnenberg offers an intense and juicy bouquet of ripe black cherries and berries intertwined with discreet black chocolate aromas. Silky, round and lush on the palate, this is a firm and salty as well as fresh and still youthful Pinot Noir with a round and aromatic finish.

This is one of the rare 2018 Pinots that isn't dominated by the exceptionally warm and dry vintage but the marly gypsum Sonnenberg soils. The wine was aged in 300-liter barrels for a year and then another year in stainless steel and large oak. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
